Oh god no. That thing looks like a backyard job to me. Not to mention how long it must be.

I wonder, does it not have six driven wheels(6x4?) or is the guy who typed up the ad in template just a total dumbfuck? It’d be easy enough to 6x6 a disco II off of available pieces for an RRC, I think, but not as easy as a Disco I?

I think it’s a 6x4 so the guy is a dumbfuck, you’re right it’s stupid easy to make it a 6x6 with available pieces. I mean it’s been done plenty of times to Defenders and Range Rovers over the years.

haha, yes. You should definitely at least go and test drive it and treat it as though it’s just like in the ad, a “normal” Disco II or whatever. Don’t make any mention of the back end at all. Just see if they bring it up, like the proverbial elephant in the room.

i notice they’re in Colorado. And marijuana is legal in CO now. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out how this truck came to be.

Look at that botched work above the rear wheel. Oh that just looks terrible. Farmers, welding guns and Bondo should never get together, let alone on a Land Rover.

Who knows, but I was distance shopping a car with that dealer and I asked salesperson if he could tell me anything about the car before I sent out a prepurchase inspection service - the usual, any check engine lights, big scratches, does it run well? “No problems, runs great.”

When the inspector guy gets there, check engine light is on, and there’s rough idle, and substantial hesitation in acceleration. I wouldn’t be mad except that they denied the CEL, I would never have put down the money for an inspection if I had known that.

So, you’re having someone look at it for you? That’s awesome. You definitely need a 6x6. I mean, someone has to buy it. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the oppo-review...

edit: NEVER MIND, I realize you’re probably looking at something more... reasonable.
