My birthday present to myself next week.

Hot damn. The black bay is a nice watch. I have a Tudor Heritage chrono, but may sell that for a black bay black, sub, or explorer.

Lucky guy! My dad had an 18 karat presidential with onyx and diamond face and diamond bezel, plus a gold and stainless datejust.
He wanted me to have them but I told him to hang onto them for me as I hoped that I would see him again. I didn’t, and he passed while I was away.
My mother, in her infinite wisdom, gave both watches along with a plethora of other items to supposed friends who were deep into auctuons or some such shit.
Long story short, they stole everything from my mother.
I will stop short before I incriminate myself for what I may or may not be compelled to do should I ever return to the northeast.

Solid. I’d personally go for the red bezel but perhaps you can buy it separately and swap them out at your lesiure.

3x the price

Yes but 100x more worth it and the only watch that matters.

If I were to buy a Rolex I’d probably get a 80'S GMT.

Submariner? I'd love one but I can't spend thousands on a watch!

Nah, Tudor Black Bay, around 3 grand

I like the black bay with the red bezel but you can't go wrong with all black either. I'm sure you'll get more use out of it that way too.

I might have to do this with a Skagen next month...

Great watch, I got the red bezel model a couple weeks ago with the aged leather strap. Within their price range, I don’t think there is a better quality value in the Swiss watch industry than Tudor.

You pretty much need to buy it the way you want it. Tudor won't swap the bezel color for you, and they don't sell spare parts like that. If you did manage to find one, (either non original, or from perhaps a damaged watch) you would have to find a watchmaker willing to change it for you, or if you are brave enough to try it yourself you would then have a good shot of damaging the rotating mechanism, and a definate severe drop in value. (Tudor does allow for strap/ bracelet change but not bezel)
