My dad’s a F40 and Porsche fan so Lego has been really trying to get his money recently. I bought two F40s for my dad, one for him to build, the other for him to collect. When this Porsche came out:

Dad: I’m a Porsche fan. The world says I have to get it.

Me: But it’s $300.

Dad: Yes but it’s a Porsche.

Me: But -stutter- it’s -but- three hundr.

Dad: Go get my wallet.

Did you see the camoflage version that they used to hype this car up? I actually like the camo one more even though I LOVE ORANGE.

My problem is I like it, but idk if I $300 like it... I mean I love Lego and I love Porsche but $300 is a lot (obviously, lol)

I figure I’ve got a while to make up my mind, but I know I’ll have to decide before it goes out of production and becomes unobtanium.

I was almost able to resist in until I watched this review (actually the only one I have seen). The premium packaging and the engineering details of the chassis pushed me over the edge.

UPDATE: I crashed mine. I was pulling it down from a high shelf and the beam that I was holding popped loose from the pegs and it crashed to the floor. Front clip is destroyed, but it’s Lego, so it’ll be back to new in no time.
