you laugh about it, but there is a champagne and seafood tent.

You Better Take Pictures.

Are these separate tents, or can you eat crab legs and dip them in champagne at the same damn place?

SAME GODDAMN PLACE! but yeah mine is a “general admission” ticket.

I’m going solo this year, so planned pictures and maybe even some shonky video possibly periscope or faceballs live.

I have been there twice but this year wont be the third. Maybe in the next year. It’s the best event that I have ever been in and I think that there isn’t anything that could surpass it.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m going alone this year which sounds bad, but I can do whatever I want without having to consider what anyone else wants to do.

This event and the Revival are on my must make list though.

If you are coming from the west coast then you may as well do the whole weekend. Get saving, it’s worth it.

I’d make a couple weeks of it and do Le Mans and the FOS in one go, I’d love to do a classic caravan to Le Mans from GB with some of your nutters. It will happen.

Sounds like a good plan, the British Grand Prix falls within the same few weeks. I’m going with my Fiancée, she bought us tickets for Christmas.

Entry AND Exit? Huh.

You’re killing me over here.

Well I had to pay extra for the privilege of exiting. The basic ticket price only offers entry and you can see everything, but at the end of the day lots of people on horses with hounds hunt you like the animal you are.

You guys do have warmth all year round though. It’s gonna be 71f on Sunday, hottest this week.

The Most Dangerous Game Goodwood Edition

I’m poor but I’m not that poor, I’ve lost many friends to Goodwood.

Eh, warmth is overrated. I wish it’d stay 70 here, but in another month or two it’ll be over 100 here in the shop regularly.

I couldn’t deal with the heat. I stayed in Florida for a few weeks in November 2014. I was called crazy for wearing shorts when it was about 75f.

Florida sucks. I was at Sebring for a week last November and have raced there before, and racing in that humidity is awful. Of course, you have to wear long pants at the track most of the time, so it’s really, really uncomfortable when working on hot racing cars and standing in pitlane without shade. Oh, and there was a huge scorpion hiding under my toolbox one morning. I wouldn’t mind if I never went there again.

I have no ill will for Florida, but then again all I did was go to seaworld, universal etc and Kennedy Space Center. My Hotel was awful though, like the worst ever. I destroyed the faucet, the room had a bug problem initially, the TV was older than me and the walls were paper thin.
Also as a British guy, saying faucet instead of Tap to the hotel staff felt awful and no doubt sounded weird.
