According to in-flight data, I’m currently running at 547mph GS. -62F outside. Roughly over Lake Manitoba at the time of posting.
This is the first time I’ve really used internet in flight. 110 power outlet FTW and satellite TV is neat. Also, I discovered I cant watch youtube videos, so that is kinda depressing but expected. (I really wanted to keep up on the Nurburgring 24). BUT, I can listen to Pandora.

Where are you headed to, if you don’t mind me asking? Pretty northern route you have going on there.

Oh how awesome did you have to pay though?

Yes. $9.99 for this flight only.
I’m on a 5 hr flight.

Aye. We’re cutting right through Canada to get to our destination of Anchroage, AK.

Worth every penny.

It is surprisingly fast as well.
Now, I don’t agree with having to pay $9.99 for a chicken wrap...but I needed something to eat. Lol.

If the pic is any indication, thanks for flying Delta. We love our 757s. They are the hotrod of the fleet. Does the plane have the new sky interior with the LED mood lighting?
Also, you should be able to get Radio Le Mans via the TuneIn Radio app.

You’re correct. Delta is my go-to airline.
As a matter of fact, I’m flying in tail # 5656 reg N556NW. (prior Northwest bird). Shes definitely got the latest interior too.
Thanks for the reminder about lemans radio!

Cool. Enjoy the new interior. Did you notice the Oppo worthy movies on the IFE? They have both Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman and a documentary about the making of Le Mans. Both are good, but I preferred the Newman doc.

those ex Northwest 757s are nice...

They were the first to be upgraded. NWA had pulled IFE off during the bad years. They needed help.

I would say that it shouldn’t be long before WiFi is a basic service on an airplane, as it should be in any public space, but as long as the airlines can wring a few bucks out of the passengers, it will cost.
