Area was sprayed for gypsy moths today. Pilot was flying crazy low. It was awesome. I probably should have stayed inside, and I might’ve if the plane wasn’t yellow.
I have one oak that was mostly defoliated by the end of last summer, and they had gotten into two large ones in my front yard. This should keep them at bay for awhile.
I like my trees.

Neat. Figured someone would know what type of plane it was. It sounded good too.

I know it because my glider habit means I also have a passing knowledge of ag aircraft (the same sorts of characteristics make good ag planes and good towplanes), but I had to cheat to see what year it was.

Crop duster pilots are some awesome pilots. Since I live in a region with lots of ag land, it's pretty common to see them zipping around spraying the crops. I imagine I would get very motion sick with all the dives and climbs and twisty turns they do.

I’d be okay with being a crop duster for a while. It looks like fun. Anything to get those hours.

We had our crops sprayed by a plane once. These pilots are insane! He had to fly under a power line. Looked like a GTA stunt.
And it’s so fast, too. 20 seconds of spraying. 30 minutes of going back. Landing. Refill the tanks, repeat.

Yea, that’s another option. There’s a pharmaceutical transport company that has a base in my hometown. I’m pretty sure they’d hire me for their bitch route... (baron, alone, 1a.m. to sunrise, usually.)

labquest/quest diagnostics? If so those guys are all over the place. They normally stop by Teterboro every night at 145 am on their way out to Reading, PA

That’s their name. I couldn’t remember. I’m from Reading, after all.

They switch between a baron and an Phenom E50P. Im pretty sure the Route is from Worcester, MA to Teterboro, NJ to Reading, PA. seems to be a pretty good gig if you can land it. and I'm pretty sure they also have some sort of Falcon but that normally arrives during the day shift.

Last I heard they had that Phenom, a Falcon, and a Lear. And their Flock of Barons

Seriously, fuck gypsy moths. They’ve laid waste to the Blue Ridge Mountains, along with the acid rain.
