“WHAT’S THE PART NUMBER FOR FRONT BRAKE PADS FOR A 1968 DODGE CHARGER” didn’t work. Do I need to say “Hey Google” or summon Siri?

I’ve seen these before, what you need to do is stair at it real angry like okay? Then wiggle your fingers and yell supercalifragalisticexpialidocius! 5 times fast. If you screw up you have to start over.

I’ll save you some time: Whatever it is you’re looking for, the part has long since been discontinued.

Was gonna pretend like I don’t know what that is but I have one and have had to use it before.
When I first worked in parts we had the old green and black screen terminals and had to submit orders via satellite. TECHNOLOGY!

A bible, right there. We keep all our old catalogs around for vintage stuff, it’s invaluable.

When I got a vintage nitro RC racing buggy some time ago, it came with a VHS tape on tuning the engine. Yes, I watched it.

And most people don’t know that parts book might only include a decade of info for one to four models. We still have about 20 of those at work in the back room for ancient history searches.

Yep, I’ve got Porsche, VW, and Mercedes-Benz books back to the 50's, they’re amazing treasure troves.

I wish we had more of the signage and whatnot lying around.... They moved in 2002 and not a lot seems to have come with from the old dealership.

We have a bunch of old books. Stupid rap. I started to understand them, but they are still stupid as hell.
