Finished the first of another set of eight straight 6 day work weeks on Saturday. Tired but at least it was the weekend, time to relax and rest.... LOL NOPE!!!!!!
For starters, the ML320 “La Meche” remembered it was German. I got off work Saturday at 4pm and went straight to my parents house to get working.
El Moose lolz in Swedish at La Meche needing repair work yet again.
This time round, it needed a P/S hose which you can see is a little moist. I did an oil chance while I was there also and lastly another crank position sensor. Got it replaced under warranty.
Though, when it rains, it pours. I get a call in the middle of working on La Meche from my wife that the washing machine stopped working. I got home from my parent’s place around 9pm. I checked the washer and the motor was indeed shot. First thing in the morning at 6am, I loaded the washing machine into El Moose (yes, it actually fit inside) and drove again to my parents house. First, I watched the Spanish GP. Then and couple blocks down from them is a warehouse where they sell good used appliances. I got a new washer and a water cooler then took off to a couple !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with my wife. Finally, I got home, did some house stuff, and went to bed around 11pm.
First thing today at work, the typical morning rush at 7am. Spent a good hour and a half looking for an extremely tiny piece on a V8 Vantage Volante with no help from Aston NA or England. I finally found it in a sub menu. Can only be ordered with the entire cable system.
So yup, i’ll rest when i’m dead :]
And now... my doggies enjoying these retired pillows from our guest room:]

Just a couple oil changes IN THE GOD DAMN SNOW
Getting sick of this snow shit, get your stuff together Michigan.
(not pictured, the 6th quart of oil that the Milan requires. Makes me angry every oil change. Smallest motor, 3.0 V6, I’ve ever owned - most oil needed)

Little 2.4 on the W203 takes 8 and change qrtz. of synthetic. Crazyness!

Was 65 today though, snowing yesterday.

Well, it is Michigan we get pretty damn cold in the winter. Negative temperatures are to be expected in January/February.

Parents visited after a 700-mile roadtrip, we hosted a party, daughter turned 3, played outside a lot, got up at 4am this morning, flew to NC, was so tired I almost walked into the women’s bathroom at the airport which is now punishable by death in NC, or so I've heard. Sofa king tired.

It was actually a French toast crepe with bacon filling. Sure, I gained approximately 137 pounds by eating it, but it was totally worth it.

I spent 9 hours Saturday and 4 hours Sunday moving servers, racks and network equipment from the second floor down to the first floor and then running new cable to the main office. By myself. Good times.

Our building is right around 110-120. The reason I had to move everything is that part of the roof came crashing down in a windstorm late last year and they are going to start construction up there to replace the entire roof. We didn’t want our server room to be collateral damage if there are “issues” with construction.

At the last place I worked a coworker and I had to rerun CAT5 through an entire store because of the mice chewing through it, and since we sold building supplies the stores were pretty large. I suggested adopting store cats, but that was shot down.
