Yup, it is an Unimog. I was at Roxborough State Park shooting some wedding invitation photos, and this is what they have there as a maintenance vehicle.

I’ve seen a few that either have a backhoe or a crane attached to the backside also, one was sitting on asphalt, and weighed enough that it had sunk about 4 inches.
