Well, he did abide by the law. That was sort of the problem. People go to jail for shooting people every day. He weaseled out of it, legally, that’s why the whole case was so crazy and upsetting. Of course it also helped in his case that he was the only living firsthand witness, I feel he would be behind bars now if anybody else at all had seen what happened and lived.

It’s not the legal aspects I have a problem, it was the fact that he showed what an irredeemable piece of shit he was after he was found innocent. This is basically the gun community's equivalent of O.J's "If I did it."
