Push way down on the go pedal. I test-drove an EcoBoost, wondered why it was so slow, and only on the last stretch of the drive discovered that the pedal throw was way longer than anything else I’ve driven recently.

Is it a premium? If so, the flip switch at the bottom of the center console, all the way to the right: put it in track. Gives you all the power.

Also, do me a favor. Get in the car, mute the volume on the radio (mute, turn it off, whatever). Then start the car. Leave it running. Put your ear up to any of the door speakers. Tell me if you hear a high pitched noise, like a ringing in the ear. To verify, try the same but with ACC on, not the engine running (hit the start button with your foot off the brake when the car is off)

Well if there is a crowd of people park it until they leave or you'll probably hit them. At tech inspection at the Autocross this weekend no one would stand in front of the mustangs

Ok, just tried it both ways. I could not hear anything with the car running. When it was in ACC, I did not hear anything from the one up by the window, but I could barely make out some sort of audible noise coming from the bigger one down toward the bottom of the door.

In my car they both have noise in ACC, then when the car is on there’s a high pitched noise from both. I had asked the dealer about it, they said it was ‘normal’. I got Ford iuvolved, and they spoke with the dealer and eventually called me and say it’s ‘normal’.

I don’t think it is. If you’re not hearing it then that tells me mine probably isn’t normal.

I wouldn’t call that normal. Maybe it is a wiring issue? I could barely make out the noise and it didn’t sound high pitched.

Have you tried going to another dealer and taking a look at their cars? Maybe ask for a test drive and see if it makes the same noise.

Aside from that, though, I can see what you were on about with this car. I am starting to fall for it. I have made it through Mobile at this point and the ride has been comfortable and enjoyable.
