on the wheels that is...
Edit: lots of “too big” comments. these are 20" wheels which are the OEM size.

Nay, I’m not a fan of huge wheels but these in an S class seem to hit the spot.

Nah, needs some 40" Krawlers. Anything less is for the poors.

Nay ... too many spokes.

I’ve got 22" on there now (PO installed) I want to go back to 20". Ive seen the pictured ones before, nice, but expensive

When it comes to mercedes, if “monoblock” isn’t in the name, it’s gotta be a no. But that’s just me.

I just love the stock wheels that go on it too much.
![]() 05/02/2016 at 01:25 |

I know, but smaller would look far better if brakes allow.

I just cant find a decent set of takeoffs that someone isn’t asking 4 grand for

I mean you might be able to squeeze the right 19" around the front brakes but why bother.
![]() 05/02/2016 at 01:31 |

I’m apparently in the minority here. I like how they look with the thin trim lines from a side view. I’m a little less decided from the front, but I don't dislike them.

Because it looks better, rides better, and tires are cheaper with more variety?
![]() 05/02/2016 at 01:39 |

well the 20" will ride way better than the 22" that are on there now, also, tire selection at 20" is not a concern, and the time spent trying to find a set of 19" that fit properly and trying to convert tire sizes etc. etc. wont make enough difference to be worth it. I will stick with OEM size.

Oh. Nevermind then. I think they look great. I was looking to see if there were any BBS-ish wheels available for under 4k and they were HRE ones that were 2k each. I underestimate the cost of wheels in this world.

Those look absurdly huge, with silly little rubber bands.
![]() 05/02/2016 at 01:44 |

yeah I think the configurator makes the wheels look bigger than they are.
![]() 05/02/2016 at 01:45 |

I am pretty sure the configurator makes them look bigger than they are, you should see what 22" look like on the config.

Classic AMG Monoblocks. Do it.

I like them.

I wonder if you could go to any of the numerous used luxury car dealers around Denver and ask them to trade for stock wheels. There are plenty of S Classes sitting around those lots and the average buyer probably would see it as an upgrade. Depending on tire condition of course.

Nay. You need some 15" wheels and some nice gravel tires.

Not bad at all, especially for aftermarket. Fewer spokes could be better, but they’re not gaudy. If you like them, and the price is right, and you can find something better you might as well go for it.

I like them actually. It's too bad decent sets of OEM AMG wheels cost more than thier weight in gold.

Remind me of the Audi RS style wheels.

I say yay. They look good/appropriate on that car.

What’s your budget? This dude on MBWorld is selling OEM Multispoke S Class 20" wheels with tires for $2500 plus shipping: http://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-…
You can probably knock it down another $100.

I saw those but I would have to replace the one tire with the tear in it immediately.
