I’m changing jobs at the end of August and have been casually browsing jobs just to keep an eye out. Today I got an email from a place I applied to years ago and they’re hiring FT as well as PT, have good pay, benefits, etc. The problem is I have a signed contract with my job through August.

Time to see if there is a way out of it.

Talk to your current employer. I work contract jobs, and they like me well enough to let me go early if it means jumping onto a good one.
