I’m currently fighting the last bottle of Heineken I had left over from my last drinking night. It still tastes like sewage. After it’s gone I’ll be moving on to ywiec Porter, which is probably just about the polar oposite of sewage.
Also, I just noticed that Kinja doesn’t let me type ‘’ or ‘’ in the text editor. I had to copy them in from a different window like some kind of barbarian. :’( Does that mean I’m being discriminated against and my cultural identity is being erased? Can I sue? :P

mixed with Whole Milk. I like it served very cold in a glass. No straw.

I thought this is how you liked your milky beverages.

Wouldn’t a bottle opener be a more suitable tool?

I usually start with the good stuff and finish with the crap. Having a rum and coke with my yard work but now I want a porter that looks great.

Thing is, Heineken is literally impossible to drink if you’ve had anything remotely good before it. :(

I like Zywiec but never knew they did a porter.
I’m currently enjoying a nice Guinness Hop 13 and Jameson Crested in a Polish shot glass given to me by the father of a couple of Polish friends.

I dislike regular ywiec, but their porter is great. They do a whole bunch of beers now:
My favourites from their range is the Porter and the Marcowe (Oktoberfestbier).

If it came to the regular stuff, I’d pick Tyskie over Zyweic but I do enjoy both of them.

I don’t really like either, but if I had to choose I’d have Tyskie as well.

Now you’ll need to explain how is better (or worse) than plain old Z.
![]() 04/30/2016 at 16:37 |

Well, for starters it makes me all superior when people who aren’t Polish try to differentiate between Z, , and . :D

There are three Zs? Ye gods.
Sounds almost as much fun as foreigners trying to say this guy’s name:
He’s called Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh

Recently I overheard a girl in a coffee shop (they’re all Polish: are there any women left in Poland?) telling a customer her name:
udmila.
Ludmila?
udmila.

Ludmia. That’s a very, very old timey name.

thats unadventurous

Yes, she’s an ancient old crone. Might even be 30.
Sounded more like udmila, assuming the is a kind of w sound, but there you go.
![]() 04/30/2016 at 18:05 |

Could be udmia as well I guess. And yes, has a W sound.

Found one of my cousins brews at a local restaurant. I am biased but he still makes the best damned beer I've ever had.
