Saw an unfamilar blue coupé earlier.
Turned out to be one of those Mustang thingies that Ford are trying to sell globally.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
How well it’ll do for them remains to be seen - up to the end of March Ford have managed to shift 21 here which suggests that (a) it’s not leaping from the showrooms but then again (b) it outsells the Ka. It also managed to outsell the Audi A8, Porsche Macan, Jaaag F type and XJ, BMW i3 and i8, just about every Subaru and the BMW X6. On the other hand the much older Scirocco did about three for every Mustang so we’ll see.

Ford should use the export tail lights over here. Red turn signals are stupid, and clear lenses are cool

but then you lose the sequentials.

Ford can redesign them so they are sequential globally. Sequential amber turn signals.
Too bad the hazard lights aren’t sequential also :p

I can’t say I’ve seen one (of the new gen) in the Netherlands just yet. Probably because it’s priced out of the market due to emission based taxes. I have seen one or two in lax Germany.

It still has sequential indicators, so far as I know.

I’m fairly sure Euro spec Mustangs do not have sequential indicators.

TURN SIGNALS SHOULD BE AMBER NOT RED
![]() 04/29/2016 at 12:53 |

it does not, from the factory. it has two amber turn indicators in between the three red bars. there are apparently mods to do it, though. at least according to Youtube.

I think that being different from the crowd would make it even more appealing than it is where it is ubiquitous.

What country is this again? France?

Did you crop that picture so we couldn’t see the damage from jumping the curb as it left Voitures & Coffee?

Mais non.

?
Not in France...

I didn’t know where you were, so I guessed.

Seemingly not although there are various conversions. Audi use sequential indicators so Ford could have too if they wanted.

The clear lights look so much better than the red ones we’re stuck with.

Just checked what you guys have to pay, and no wonder you haven’t seen one. I mean, seriously, €115k for the V8?! That’s about 3 times what we pay across your southern border.

For once, the american tail lights look better.

The Ecoboost costs less than half that, but yes. The emission taxes on the V8 are almost twice the actual pre-tax price of the car itself. An Ecoboosts costs more than a BMW 430i, the V8 costs about the same as an M4.
