If you really need to clean it and nothing else works, toilet bowl cleaner removes the most impossible bath tub stains. Use seldom and clean right away as it’s highly acidic.

I’m actually quite fortunate. It’s an older home, but meticulously maintained by an Army vet/career LEO detective who passed away, but mutual acquaintances have advised me he was the type of guy that wouldn’t have a spec of dust on his uniform, and the house interior/exterior as well as landscaping reflect as much. My home inspector pulled me aside after his inspection and advised that I’d get a thorough report in a couple days, but it was a solid, well built, well maintained home, which was a huge relief. Still going to sterilize every corner of the house prior to move in, though :P .
