...I probably would have gotten a different car. There’s about 10 small boxes in that row on the far right, and another five or so stacked on the passenger seat.

At least it has those nice hinges that don’t intrude into the trunk space.

This is true, although if they had just made that lower edge flush with the trunk floor it would save me so much trouble. There are a few boxes we use that will fit in the trunk, but won’t go through the opening. I have to put the seats down and try to stuff them past the passenger seat. (I live near the fedex dropoff location, so I get to make the fedex runs, which almost always entail large things like forks, body panels, wheels, etc...)

Time to get a hitch, and a little utility trailer.

Fold the seats down, I get a full set of wheels and tires with a jack, my helmet, all my tools, and often a set of golf clubs and a folding chair (without putting anything in my passenger seat) in my BRZ when I go on a racing and golf weekend.

WRX might be for you. Even loaded up with stuff, an actual adult can fit in the back.

When I worked as a delivery driver at a parts store, I once fit 20 cases (read 80 gallon jugs) of washer fluid into an Echo sedan.

It's just so... perfect.

Is it bad that I understand what you’re saying but my mind is just sitting here thinking to itself “Well, if he can fit all of this in there, I could probably live with that. That’s a lot of space!”

It’s like having a baby. There’s lots of room inside, it’s the entrance that’s the problem.

We do have a ‘00 Yukon XL as the shop truck, but Considering it takes about 10 gallons of gas for me to get home I try to avoid it.

I’ve already got my next car lined up. It’s the hatchback life for me.

Hopefully you didn’t have problems taking the stuff out then haha!

I fold the seats when we’ve got long things like forks or tanks, the issue is the bulk. I can maybe get one big box in the trunk, but none of the remaining space is large enough for another. This instance is probably the only time I’ve managed to get everything packed in like that.

“Why is the box destroyed?”
“It sat on my roof at 75mph for 50 miles.”

I sometimes have to open it up from the other side and pull things out that way.

IIRC it was 16 cases in the back seat, two layers deep, five wide on the seat with three wide (the long way) in the footwell area. The other four squeezed into the trunk with the summer tires that we for some reason hauled around all winter. There was a noticeable rearward shift in weight distribution...

Gotta get that 50/50 somehow!

I’m sure they saved like $3 by using those shitty gooseneck hinges though...

Nah, the brz already had enough Toyota mediocrity in it to last me quite a while. ;)
