Nissan are one of my favourite car brands, and I love their current design language.
From the mundane;
To the very much not mundane;
They’re just behind Buick, Honda, Jaaaguar, and Hyundai/Kia (Since they share a great deal) for me. (In that order)

That's a funny looking Murano you posted.

The new Altima’s are really nice, good to see they are going more Mazda than Toyota as far as design.

I can see why Canadians like Nissan. Canada’s SEP is only 15 years, compared to 25 (so you can get Skylines before we can)
You guys also get the Micra for under 10k (Nissan USA is being stupid and jealous), you got the X-trail, and you also got the Axxess from 1990-95 (down here it was only sold in 1990)
However, I HATE their transverse V6's like the Maxima/I30—impossible to replace the valve cover gaskets, and you have to spend hours just taking off the intake, and then you lose a few bolts, break a couple hoses, that you shouldn’t even have to remove in the first place.

Thank goodness someone else around here has good taste!!

the front of the new Maxima is nice, but the back with that “flying roof” styling thing still looks weird to me...

I forogt the Axxess existed until I saw one a few weeks ago. It was at a trendy local restaurant, of all places.

(That GTR isn’t their current design language though.)
They killed the Xterra so nope on the Nissan’s here. To be fair I only liked the first gen X.

I don’t like Nissan’s current design language (although it isn’t as bad as Honda’s IMO), but I agree they’ve made some great stuff.

I'm referring to the squished murano that they call the maxima.

My Grandpas 98 maxima looked roomy under the hood. However I never worked on it so I wouldn't know.

The mini-MPV segment is a segment that never has done well in the States, but in Canada it sells really well.
We’ve got the Rondo, 5, and B-Class currently, and the two hybrids, the Prius V and C-Max. The States only get the hybrids.

I know it isn’t, neither is the X-Trail.

Shit, I forgot we don’t get the 5 anymore! Too bad about the Rondo and B-class (I’d totally rock a B200 turbo 6-speed).
Ford planned on selling the full suite of C-Max models in the US, hybrid and non-hybrid, 5 and 7-passenger. They only backed out at the *very* last minute because of jealous dealers wanting to sell more Flexes.
Our Prius V sucks because we get a cheaper battery and no third seat. Europe and Japan get a lithium ion battery with more range, and a third seat. Is the Prius V available with a third seat in Canada?

Nope. The Prius V is kinda the most useless in it’s class. Other than the taller hatch area, I can’t see any reason to buy it over the regular Prius.

Damn! Didn’t realize that. They still make cars though right?

I don’t know, I think Nissan went out of business a few years ago. We’re all driving Renaults now.

I think nissan was really on top of things until the mid ‘90s. Ever driven a current altima?

I agree
