Did the same to a guy who T-Boned me in a college parking lot. I was doing the 20 mph limit and he plows into me. Gets out of his plastic fantastic Saturn and does that douche bag chuckle - “huh huh sorry duuuude I was changing CDs.” Body shop and police investigation estimated his speed at 35-40 mph.

His dad calls and wants to offer, practically begs, $3500 to keep insurance out of it. I refuse, his insurance totals it out for $5k, I say more, they over $7500.

Ran into the kid a few months later (figuratively) and he complains to me about how he can’t get insurance anywhere, as if I cared. Bet he won’t forget that lesson
