She’s a car enthusiast who loves miatas and mazdas in general. She also is a programmer and graphic designer. I have a budget of about $40. Can anyone suggest any good gift ideas?

Go to the junkyard, and pull a rotor from an RX-7 or RX-8. Add blue LED strips from Autozone, and a 8 AAs and a couple of battery compartments and some solder and an iron from Radioshack. You will have the best gift ever.
