!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Just look at this magnificent piece of machinery!
Bit expensive though, but it’s one of only two for sale in the province. This is the other one.

that teal and white one would be interesting. It’s also local for me. I think I’ll stick with my truck instead.
That red one is ridiculous!!! WAY TOO MUCH for a Lada.

At least Alberta gets Nivas! Look at the one we have in Ontario...

I really want to see the back of that ‘93. If it’s just a diy sawzall job that’s one thing, but a limited number of the pickup variations made their way over here and they’re quite rare.

I believe the pickup was a little bit longer.
A mint factory pickup Niva is seriously one of my dream cars, so goddamn cool.

My thoughts exactly. 129K isn’t that much but it’s a whole fucking bunch for a Lada.

Not always. The factory went through a few styles. There was a one-owner in Stoon a year or so ago that he claimed was factory and really just a chop of the regular one, same tail lights and all. Even the factory versions were pretty much diy sawzall jobs... and then when the liftgate changed in ‘93 they had to restyle the tail gate area of the trucks so they just redid the entire rear end, incorporating S10 tail lights and tailgate hardware thanks to GM connections. There were also a few batches of cab-and-chassis models, and I’d love to get a chance to poke around at one of them. No way the vestigial unibody rails are sturdy enough to support the chassis without more body, so I’m curious how they accomplished it.
That orange truck has popped up quite a few times. It was for sale unrestored in Alberta six or seven years ago when I was looking at getting my first car, and then it showed up in Ontario a couple times in the last few years in its current form. That or there’s more than one of them.

129k km is a shit ton on a 20 year old vehicle?

If it was looked after really well, maybe. But my Niva, nearly identical to the one above, same year and colour, had 45k when I got it and it’s seriously rough. Typically the ones I encounter are in the 20-70k range. I’ve only seen a couple over 100.
