There is only one problem with your plan:
the Isle of Man isn’t a smooth and flat track, it’s a bumpy and hilly road race.
You need clearance, a minimum of suspension travel and some dampening to not lose control and careen in a tree at high speed.
If it was my money, I’d probably go with something that raced on Pikes Peak (with longer gearing, maybe?):
