so much more control this and my new helmet makes welding way way easier! super stoked about my TIG.
BTW this is a super thin miata fender the top photo was a crack on the edge I welded up and just for kicks the bottom photo shows where I welded a cracked bolt slot that isnt just a blobby weld but the two pieces met but like I said were cracked hard to explain but its not just a blob holding it together.

Agreed! Those look really good. I so badly wish I had my own, but at least I can use a friend’s Miller pretty much whenever I want. What kind of helmet did you get?

It was a very slightly used kobalt I got on ebay for a steal.
It may not be pro grade but the much bigger viewing area and variable shade and 4 sensors work really well. It is such a huge upgrade over my crappy lincoln auto helmet I bought like 10 years ago.

I’m sure it’s great, kobalt usually does a pretty decent job. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s better than the flagship Miller helmet I bought ten years ago.
