Car styling had peaked. No need to go any further.
In other news, my father just reserved one.

I dunno. This opinion will be unpopular given the hype, but that red one looks like an updated and stylized BMW 3-series GT to me. I mean it’s nice, but it isn’t revolutionary looking.

I don’t think I like it. The proportions seem off.
Also what’s going to happen when you crack your windshield and have to replace your whole roof?

I do not like how the front end is shaped to fit a normal grill and nothing is there. Either their design is restricted by safety regulations or someone needs be more creative with aerodynamic modeling to give that car a better face.

Likely safety crap.

that nopse is still just....no.
WHY design it to fit a grill? it just look like someone stuck a un-finished bumper on it.

Safety regs require a blunt nose.

I quite like it, especially with the turbine wheels. I think they’ll sell as many as they can make.

OH
REALLY
NOW?

It’s a good looking car but to say styling has peaked is facetious. It’s modern and clean but a standout in the design department it is not.
There were better looking cars before this and there will be better looking cars after.

Tone down the hostility brother.

But seriously. Aventadors and NSXs aren’t going to sell like a Model-3. I’d believe there be more restrictions on high-volume cars.

not really. rememebr how lotus was stopped from selling cars b/c they didnt meet standards?

Didn’t seem hostile at all. Just someone probably defensive and misinterpreting.

Isn’t that why they got Toyota engines?

If this is peak, I want to be at the bottom of the river.

I don’t think this is how it works.

I think it was an airbag thing actually. (I dont QUITE remember who, but someone was stopping from selling cars because of something to do with air bags)

Blunt
Blunt
I may concede this one, but not by much.

yes, a border line razor sharp splitter at ankle level is blunt.

I know your right about that one, just did not want to admit it. No idea how they got away with an ankle slitter like that.

I read somewhere it was one. I’ve been very wrong about things before.
