Does anyone use Chrome add-ins/extensions? More specifically does anyone use Ghostery? I’m noticing it is breaking Facebook and Youtube, but I have no clue why. I’m curious if anyone else is having this issue.

Lastpass is the only extension I use.

I recommend Cloud-to-Butt. Hasn’t broken anything so far.
Also you should be able to mess around with settings to disable that other one on whatever domain is giving you issues.

Ha, that’s a funny extension. I have it disabled now for four websites, YouTube/Facebook/Jalop/(Oppo)/Outlook.

Try not to use Ghostery; they’re owned by an Ad company now and are no longer as privacy friendly as you might believe.
Disconnect is a good easy to use add-on. If you want something a bit more powerful (and more complicated) you can try uBlock Origin for example.
I’d uninstall Ghostery, install Disconnect and see if that gives you what you want.

Thanks for the tip. I just found that in my search... Terrible news.

I currently have 18 Chrome extensions. I personally would recommend Disconnect.

I’ve never had any problems regarding Disconnect and the Kinja overlords.

I had ghostery, but then I went to Disconnect. Currently running 7 chrome extensions, plus a VPN.
