I was in Palm Beach over the weekend, for a quick lunch stop on the drive between Boca Raton and Orlando. In the time I was there, I saw literally dozens of Bentleys and Rolls-Royces. The Bentley Continental GTC convertible seems to be the official car of Palm Beach (I saw about 40 in an hour), followed closely by the Rolls-Royce Ghost (about 30 in an hour). Here are a few shots from my quick stop:
I probably looked like a peasant in my t-shirt, bare feet, and dollar-store sunglasses, but meh. Most businesses were closed, so everyone was packed into the resorts, golf clubs, and churches for Easter service.

That green Mulsanne is my dream car. I would do bad, bad things to it.

I was having lunch with an architect friend in Delray, and I probably saw 5 BMWs in 5 minutes. When I commented, he said that they call BMW the Delray Caprice. He drives a white 911 Cabriolet. There are so many amazing daily drivers in south FL. I do some work at a country club in Boca and there will be dozens of Maserati/Bentley/Land Rover/mercedes/Porsche in the parking lot, along with sprinkling of vintage cars and corvettes. I should take pics the next time I’m there.

Interestingly, BMW was the one mainstream luxury brand I found to be underrepresented in Palm Beach. The few I saw were vastly outnumbered by Mercedes, Audis, and Jaguars.

Palm beach is a great place to go cat watching. Check out palm beach gardens if you get the chance.
