Step 1: Find old plates in spare tire well of Subaru
Step 2: Add one to the car stuff wall
Step 3: ???
I would also add it to the wall, but two old plates from the same year and province seems odd.

Assuming your talking about your legacy, I wonder why there were 1976 plates in a modern subaru.

Damn, that’s pretty neat.

I guess my Grandpa has been keeping them since they lived in Winnipeg. My mom is pretty sure one of the pates is from the Datsun she drove in the 70s
Edit* The Legacy was my grandpas car originally

looks like you could use that Volvo badge for home defense or something

Thanks! I feel like it’s not a bad start to a car stuff wall

Absolutely! Maybe go to a pull apart and look for neat badges or hubcaps.

I’ve got a 900 from a Saab, and had an XJS but I lost it. Also a BMW roundel but I’m not sure how to put it up yet. I shall be collecting more things....

Manitoba is so friendly because “holy shit it’s another person! HI!”

I always wondered why that was their slogan, but after being to Manitoba I would agree that it actually is the friendliest province. From my perspective as a straight white male, at least.....

Kentucky had a similar slogan for a while, likely with the same asterisks haha.

So you’re behind the rash of stolen license plates in whatever town/city it is that you live in?
![]() 03/27/2016 at 17:30 |

Yeah, I’ve been stealing all the license plates from other states that show up in my state.

I might have some CA ones I could slide you, if I can find them.

Two of them. I don’t see myself moving back there, so I have no use for them. The problem will be finding where I left them.
My parents probably have a bunch of Utah arch ones lying around somewhere in their garage, too, if they can find them. I could look next time I'm there.
