You’re not missing much imo.

Yes, but I believe it is still a lot easier for you to privately buy a non-Canadian US-market car and bring it into the country than it is for us to do the same, with, say, a Micra or something.

‘Tis. The youtuber AR12 actually imported an R32 Golf to Canada a while back. I don’t think any special paperwork is really needed or anything. Try and import an X-Trail into the States and you’ll be in a world full of hurt and crushed Nissans.

You’re not missing so much with the Diamantes (though they do tend to be good deals). There’s one in my complex. The owner has a lot of electrical issues though he says the manual has been pretty much trouble free.

I’m kind of wondering why we ever thought it was such a brilliant idea to secede from you in the first place.

Well that explains why I’ve never been able to spot an SS on the streets here, and why Vancouver Craigslist is completely devoid of them.

Wouldn't all those Mercurys be available to you as Fords?

Yep, and Lincolns for most of them too. But we didn’t get the Mercury versions.

That means you could only see Mercury Jill on contraband publications smuggled over the border.

1987-1991 Sterling 800 Series: Acura/Honda Legends built in the UK with British interiors, and sold in the US. A massive failure in itself.

Huh, never knew about the GTO, and I can’t find any info on the E39.

According to Wikipedia we got the Sterling. Not very many, but we still got them.

I’ve never seen one though.

Really? I kinda want one just so I can see if I can figure out how someone made a Honda unreliable.

It’s Rover, they find a way to make everything unreliable.

I’ve searched AutoTrader, Kijiji, ect. Not a single M5 apart from the odd US import M5.

Evo VIII and IX

Wiki:

“The Lancer Evolution VIII was also the first Evolution to be sold in the United States of America”

“The Evolution X went on sale October 1, 2007 in Japan, [22] January 2008 in the USA, [23] February in Canada (as the first version of Evolution in Canada) [24]

e39 M5:

This really surprises me. I see (what I think to be), just about the same amount on the street as I would if they were sold here. You know, one or two a year. That’s messed up.
