I added some vintage (style) amber fog lights to the Scout. Scored them on eBay, and was pleasantly surprised that the bodies are good heavy metal and the lenses are real glass with 35w halogens behind. Got a wiring harness with inline fuse and a relay so they pull juice straight from the battery. They really do help night driving as well.
Definitely nothing major, but considering the Scout looked like this a couple of weeks ago, it was nice to be out doing something.

I have a tarp, but the last snow storm killed it, and I didn’t get a chance to replace it. I’m trying to convince my wife some kind of semi-permanent structure at the top of the driveway is in order.

I also have, you know, the actual top for it as well, but it’s heavy and a real pain in the ass. It’s been off for a couple of years now.

Oh man, I would kill for a Scout... My dad had one when I was a wee lad. Loud, rusty, not much of the seats left, but it was a total tank. The doors felt like closing a bank vault. The door locks were metal. Handsome beast.
