Pretty awesome, can’t wait for the rest of Sturgill Simpson’s new album to come out!

This is messing with my brain!

It’s super conflicting. On one hand, I love the Grungy sound of Nirvana, on the other, I love Sturgill Simpson. Overall, I love it.

This may be one of the only Nirvana covers I am ok with. Never heard Sturgill before but I will fix that.

April 15th right? I'm excited I don't think I have heard anything I don't like by him. His tiny desk session is really good too

Yep! It ships out a week before, if you preorder it. I really wish he would re-release his old Sunday Valley stuff though, because I really like the bluegrass feel.

What is a Sturgill? No I can’t take country modern singers, they just seem like they are trying very hard to sound like that, forced, and the twang is too much for me. I love Johnny Cash etc. but modern is very odd to me.

That’s his first name lol. That is a genuine Kentucky coal country accent though.

We just have a baby and we say, yep that’s baby Sturgill.... Stir or Gil for short?

I'm going to have to listen to that. I always try to hit up every bluegrass act that comes through town

It’s not strictly blugrass, it just has that feel. It’s also hard to find, as I had to find a download. You also might want to check out Turnpike Troubadours if you haven’t already.

You must check out Chris Stapleton, then. I’m not a fan of modern country at all but he is legit (and he writes his own stuff, apparently)
