28 degrees Fahrenheit and snow started to accumulate again once I headed to work. All said, not terrible out though it was some of the more careful driving I’ve done this year.
I HAD to go and say it would snow the week after swapping wheels. Had to.
Oh, 50s on Wednesday, I believe. New England.

i was supposed to get 6-10, i think i got 4. the highway was pretty easy going

I had sort of the opposite problem. Cold weather is so fleeting where I live that I couldn’t decide on a good point to switch to winter tires. When I really felt I should switch, I had to muddle through. Then it would get warm again and I didn’t want to run them when it was warm/dry.
I just need a solid set of no-seasons...

City wasn’t bad but I work north of Boston now so as I made my way up it started to accumulate. Had just a couple inches to clear this morning but under was ice. -_-
I wish I could be a weatherman so I could get everyone all hyped up for no reason, be wrong 90% of the time and still have a job.

yea if i performed like that i’d be fired. Hanover canceled schools before it even snowing last night. not needed

I really dislike the OEM Eagle F1s. They were great for the first 5k miles, then after the first 2/32nds of tread wore away, the little water sipes wear away and the tires just hydroplane and slip in any sort of wet weather. In the snow, it’s not even that they lose grip....they are actually DANGEROUS.
This winter I’ve been on Michelin X-ices on 16" steelies... it transformed my FocuST into a snow BEAST! After the first real snowstorm this past winter, I took it out for a test and literally laughed maniacally when I was taking out mounds of powder.

I got a cheap set of snows on steel wheels (don’t even remember what) for my first winter with the FoST three winters ago.
It is an animal in the snow.
