I made my own dinner, so my wife got the night off. Wait, she did the cheese on the bread, that’s it. Behold, cheesesteak!
We used Boar’s Head Ovengold Turkey, because we want to pretend we’re rich or something, :).
My “beer” for the night. Would recommend it.
MrsZtp didn’t want banana peppers, her lost.
The end product. I make these once a year, so I’m losing my touch honestly. Will have to make them more so I don’t lose my touch!

I’ll be right over ... Swiss cheese please!

Swiss cheese? Live a little, Try havarti, :). It's a soft cheese, so the slices have to be cut a bit thicker, but it has a nice, creamy taste, :).

We have a 99 Miles to Philly here, still (I think) - you order “wit, whiz” - onions and cheese whiz. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve been helping out the teens at church lately, and last Wednesday I was introduced by my last name. That felt really weird. I know it’s a sign of respect, but it’s not needed. Calling me by my first name is a-ok.
It’s like it the movies or television, “mr. Pilot is my father, call me zeon.”
