Taken after a cruise in the countryside north of Toronto with a few other Oppos yesterday.

At our destination, the Creemore Springs Brewery.

The Golf is mine, I don’t know a screenname for the Accent (because I’m dumb and forgot to ask), the pistachio jelly bean is Cletus44's press car and Suuuuubaru brought a friend with the Integra and his own Cavalier.

Yeah, it’s not bad, I’ll grab a couple of singles from them every once in a while. There’s some decent roads on the way up to it from the city so if you and/or Travis are up here for some reason and want to visit I’ll happily guide you on a little tour as I did with the guys yesterday.

Great minds indeed. It’s a picture I’ve meant to take for a while so my return drive was a good opportunity.

The other road had a sign that said ‘next 16km’, iirc. It was a good road but a bit of a detour to go back and take the photo.

We can and should do a similar trip in the summer. Hopefully Cletus gets the car he wants, which could be good for such a drive.

On the way home from a job site, a main highway was flooded because of a weeks worth of rain, I used some googling maps to take some back roads home. It was glorious, I need to get back on those roads, it's too bad I don't have a fun car to blast around on them.

I wouldn’t say there is an explicit need for a fun car. It may improve things but it’s not necessary. I drove my Golf yesterday and had lots of fun.

There’s always next time. Cletus44 posted a feeler for this on Friday and organised it overnight so there wasn’t much notice. We can and perhaps should do another trip like this over the summer and we can take a bit longer to organise.

I’ve been up in the Muskokas a few times but never just for the purpose of driving. You’ll have to lead us on that tour. :)

Indeed. I rushed work a bit that morning to get to our meeting point on time, only for the group to be an hour late. :) Such is life when you’ve got to organise a group on short notice though so I can’t really complain. I went for lunch and washed my car while I waited so it worked out.
