I’d register it as a moped and use it to get around downtown.
I’m 5'9. I’d keep it in the back of my ranger and use it to explore wherever I go. Like a scout vehicle carried in the mother ship.
I think it’d be like a slow grom.

Do they not require you to have turn signals and such for 50cc or less?

I could make some. Or just use hand signals. Don’t need a license or insurance, just a plate.

I don’t know what kind of exploring you do, but trail and dual sport bikes have a high ground clearance for a reason. But the comfort will come down to the position your knees will be in. If your knees are too high your legs will get stiff and your hips will ache.

I have a Honda z50 that’s about that size and I still chase the dogs around with it. Some small bikes can be a blast to ride and you can push them to the limit without being worried about getting seriously injured.
