The scene in TMP, when you first get to see the Enterprise in all its glory is one of my favorite scenes. I could watch two hours of that.

I never liked the E’s interior. I get that they were in the middle of the Dominion war and the idea of a Great White Fleet was out, but it felt spartan without functionality.

Poor Worf goes from this gigantic wooden desk to a self-serve checkout.

Agree about the E. The problem I had with the next generation bridge layout is they gave up the efficient functionality where the captain could survey his entire bridge and see every station. Instead, it looked like it was layed out for a photo op. Every time the bridge officers wanted to go to the back half of the bridge, they had to walk around this big architectural piece.

Didn't keep me from watching every episode though.
