I’m in the middle of making red velvet cupcakes and soon I’ll be making dinner. We’re not actually doing anything special today because the anniversary of our first... meeting is February 17th and we tend to celebrate only one or the other. This year we’re both taking the 17th off and I’m taking him to dinner that night. The cupcakes were just a spur of the moment thing when I was at the store.

I also picked up something for him at the liquor store. Henry Weinhardt has a line of hard sodas now, and one of them is hard ginger ale. He loves ginger ale so I got him some to try.

What did you plan for today?

I picked some up this week. It mostly just tastes sweet, there isn’t much ginger flavor to it. More like cream soda than ginger ale, IMO.

I much prefer Not Your Father’s Ginger Ale. Less sweet. Stronger flavor. Good stuff.

I was alone for years until I got sick of it. I put myself out there and now I’m celebrating 8 years with my partner. Life is too short to spend it obsessing about your faults, there are a surprising amount of people out there who’d love to have someone like you.

I took the Z06 out earlier and carved some canyons. Then I drank a bunch of beer, took a jacuzzi, and took a nap. Now I’m drinking alone because all my stupid friends have stupid girlfriends they have to hang out with.

I will be flying solo tonight. I’m planning to watch Deadpool for the second time. Probably get some frozen yogurt or cupcakes as well.
