With boats too much does not exist.

As my uncle always says, if you have a lot of money, buy a fast boat, not a fast car. Most roads have speed limits, and most waterways don’t.

If that was a 17' Bass Boat I’d say that’s too much.

How long to outboards usually last? I’ve recently seen some new boats with four Yamaha 350s hanging off the back, and that just seems like a recipe for financial disaster when rebuild time comes around.

Weak - only because you can get that setup in quad form, like on the Hydrapsorts Suenos 530. The 557s are something around $70k/each. So the 627s are probably in the $80s?
Seven Marine is ridiculous.

I just want to know how many gallons a quad setup could burn per mile, it must be impressive

Not enough.

The twin 557 is 72.2gph/0.9mpg at 65mph.
If you’re into stern drives, the Mercury Marine 1550/1650s are sweet. Pump/race gas mode. 9L TT DOHC V8...

I’ll take my triple LSA’s in this form:

The 627's are about $100k each.

The LEDs on the new 627s are pretty neat.

Hydra Sports says that the quad 627 setup is almost 20 % more efficient than quad Yamaha 350s, but costs one 250 grand more
