I have lots of respect for riders, several of my coworkers ride. I’m not into two wheels, but this? I cannot wrap my head around the amount of skill required.

From the thumbnail I thought this was just another stunt video.
But Holy Shit!!! That was gnarly. Dude’s got mad skills.

That was basically one big two-wheeled middle finger to the laws of physics. That control was amazing.

Actually, when moving the bike naturally wants to stay upright due to the rotational forces of those two wheels. You have to force it to actually lean and therefore turn.
Rev-matching downshifts are actually quite easier on a motorcycle, as are clutchless shifting. Much easier than heel to toe on a car.
The skill can be easily learned by all, but its the mentality that is the hardest for some people.
You have to have a slightly agressive, alert mentality when riding. The idea you are a ghost and no one can see you, you have to be constantly looking around and in your mirrors, you really can’t afford to daze off like you can on a car.
The force exerted during a minor fender bender in a car can be life altering on a motorcycle.

But...... How.......... I’m seriously impressed. I know I couldn’t do it.

Gotta be Japan. I’m not being racist, it’s just got to be Japan.

There was also a video with some guy on a Hayabusa or a ZX-14R doing motokhana...
I literally muttered “they either are crazy, have too much time or carrying a lethal combination of both.”

That guy is the matrix. Morpheus told us he’d be the one

A coworker showed me a different video a while back. I understand all the physics behind it, doesnt change the impressive level of control...

Seen this before and it still amazes me, and I ride.

I mean... it IS in Japan, they’re talking in Japanese :) The commentary in the first part is a bunch of guys saying how cool/awesome it is () then the announcer says a guy got a 2:42, then at the end another guy got 2:39 (then maybe his name after it... but not sure, can’t make it out).
I can only dream of being that good. OR get a bike again and practice like mad... but I could see being a 1/4 (maybe 1/2?) as good on a SuMo, not a sportbike though. That video is amazing.
