Now that this is dying
What will now become the new ‘bro my car looks cool and fast but actually isn’t’ car?
P.S. The Civic Si is irreverent in this conversation
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:57 |

It's already the BRZ
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:57 |

Presumably this will still be around with a Toyota badge.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:57 |

FR-S/GT86/BRZ, easily.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:58 |

That Hyundai Genesis coupe thing or whatever.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:58 |

I’ve always thought of these as a “chick” car.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:59 |

the 2016 4 cylinder Camaro. still not happy the 4 cylinder is back in a Camaro, I still have nightmares of 82 Ironduke Camaros.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:59 |
|
No, the FR-S. People who actually autocross and whatnot go for the BRZ.

“The tC sports coupe will have a final release series edition and end production in August 2016.”
surprisingly (thankfully?) no
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:59 |

The official announcement now on the FP stated the tC is being discontinued after 2016.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:59 |

Considering the G35's reputation, I expect all of these to have blacked out taillights and monster stickers in about 5 years.

Upcoming Civic coupe in non-Si trim.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 09:59 |
|
GT86.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:00 |

you have a point. Walk on any college campus and you see these are either driven by ‘bro’s’ or sorority sisters
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:00 |

If i had the money I would so do that.......
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:02 |

Used G35/G37 coupes.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:02 |

aren’t they already ‘bro’ territory
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:03 |

BRUH
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:03 |

Good point.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:03 |

CPO all the BROs!
especially theses new entry level cars
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:04 |
|
NO NOT LEXUS! DON’T MAKE LEXUS A BRO COMPANY!!
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:05 |
|
I was going to suggest this, the Boostang, and V6 Challengers in trims that make it look like a V8 model.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:05 |

Mazda3
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:06 |
|
Exactly this. Me and my friends refer to the G35-Q60 as the “I’m killing it in sales bro” car.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:06 |
|
the older speed3's are in bro territory already, I would hope the current generation doesn’t follow suit :[
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:08 |
|
It really doesn’t matter. it’s the exact same car. I personally would expect the BRZ more due to “ITS A SUBIE BRO, JUST LIKE THE WRX”
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:08 |
|
I’ve already seen a stanced dog shitting position model Mazda3 (the hatchback, it’s ugly and Jaloppo is wrong).
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:09 |
|
Doesn’t the 2.0T make like triple the horsepower that hunk of crap iron duke made though?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:09 |

I worked for Lexus for many years....... much BROness was witnessed. Honestly, no brand is immune to BROness, but with the introduction of sub $35K cars from high end brands, there will be a shift, especially CPO. As the image obsession plague (IOP) continues to explode at massive rates, a fancy badge on a car is vital for “My new whip” selfies on FaceHash Tag Book. Damn kids
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:10 |
|
that hurts my heart.............then again if all the bros go to entry level cars from higher brands, it’ll let me drive a Si in peace
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:13 |
|
I’ve actually seen a pretty even split between the FR-S/BRZ.
In fact, there are probably more FR-Ss in CS than BRZs now, because of the TRD springs/sways port option “cheat.”
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:13 |
|
Mostly they seem to flock toward Audi and Lexus. I’ve seen more and more BMW drivers obeying traffic laws AND using their turn signals so I have to assume they aren’t bros.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:15 |
|
I’ll respect someone more in a clean Si than a selfie bro in a CPO A3 or CLA
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:15 |
|
No, bros just buy a WRX so they can #aintcare all the way to the vape shop. lol
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:15 |
|
This is the correct answer. Any of the CPO luxury cars.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:15 |

Ah, the iron puke. Gives me warm nightmares memories of my ‘80 Pontiac Phoenix.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:16 |

lol poor Acura and Infiniti, not even BROs buy their new cars. Used G37 with tinted tailights though...
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:19 |

I’m seeing it here at work with these CLA and girl version of BROs in GLAs. Returning back after a couple months covered in wheel curb scratches, completely filthy interiors, and extra LED lighting accents. Especially around their speakers/subs in the trunk. But hey, CPO for $20K?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:20 |
|
I have to agree.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:20 |
|
I gotta say I rarely see these. Most of the bros around here drive lifted pickup trucks with a smattering of G35 coupes ruined with chrome 20s.

I’m from Jersey, which is constantly referred to as the Douche Epicenter of the Universe.
It’s these. No question. Drive around North Jersey, or drive down Rt 35 during the summer.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:23 |

BMWs?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:25 |

It’s a jersey thing
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:29 |

From the post RIGHT ABOVE THIS ONE on Oppo:
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:31 |

The IS250/350 are already bro cars and have been!
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:33 |
|
Also a jersey thing
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:33 |

Subie bro is almost as bad as 90s Honda Civic guy.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:35 |

I thought all Scion owners (apart from FR-S) were 50+?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:36 |

Toyobaru twins.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:36 |

The TC is owned by college kids and bros
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:39 |

Yeah I thought so too..especially since I have been driving my wife’s first gen TC that she bought right out of college for the past few years.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:45 |

Bro, my pops let’s me take his bitchin’ IROC down the shore, used to get him so many chicks back in the day. I just cruise down the shore, park it in front of D’jais, between the IROC and my haircut, bro, I’m the king of the fuckin’ shore.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:55 |

Is it wrong if I *really* like how these look?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 10:55 |
|
Bros mainly own trucks here.

What a strange and awkwardly proportioned looking car, especially the top of the door frame being very flat and the weirdly overdone BMW aping kick in the rear side window. Glad we never had these over here, is bad enough that we got the Toyota Urban Cruiser (a rebadged Scion) not that anyone ever bought them!
![]() 02/03/2016 at 11:11 |
|
Probably but still a 4 cylinder Camaro is just wrong, it’s not a tuner car like a Honda. Plus I don’t want to see Camaros “riced”. Down the street of my work is a fart canned ecoboost mustang. I dont want to see that on a Camaro.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 11:16 |
|
No matter what engine a car has people are still gonna fuck it up somehow. People donk and rice V6 and V8 Camaros all the time, it just happens. I for one welcome the snail’d 4 with tuning ability. Especially in the Camaro which is more a sports car than anything else at this point.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 11:25 |
|
I agree that people will do stupid things to the V6 and 8 cars. Though i think for the 4 cylinder to actually sell well they need to price or cheap enough for the young people that were not around the first time there was a 4 cylinder Camaro because that car created a big stigmatism that would make the car harder to sell over the V6 model. But I have a feeling the price will still be to high due to seeing a msrp jump of around $5-6k over the the fifth gem SS to the sixth gen SS.

Yes
![]() 02/03/2016 at 14:17 |

I thought Accord Coupes had taken that spot. The outspoken owners seem to fit the stereotype, anyway.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 14:28 |

As TheHondaBro...he owns an accord coupe
![]() 02/03/2016 at 16:06 |

Really wish this was engineered to be RWD (with more capable engine...) from the start. Would’ve matched the looks, and likely sold more.

Too bad no rear wiper was available on it
