This yard usually doesnt have much, but this time.. just wow...
I’m certain I saw this e30 on a flatbed in traffic a few months ago,
Possibly abused e36. Beat to hell.
yes, its a Land rover, no, not all of them should sit in wrecking yards.
I applaud this Acura TL’s sense of balance. gotta make the most of your time at the wreckers.
The following after this Civic and Corolla are a bit graphic for us lovers of cars, please proceed with caution.
rather clean and unique Paseo. Should be on the roads.
NOO 535i!
This is a MINTY DelSol. Why is it in the yard, I wouldn’t know. Im tempted to take the seats and make desk chairs out of them.
seeing this Saab in the yard almost made me burst in tears. WHY OH GOD WHY?
Oh well. Guess we can’t save them all.

That e36 was a 4x4?
Interesting.

That e30 made me say OUCH
I wish junkyards around here had this sort of things, sadly it’s all mid/late 90's american economy cars and minivans... and they’re rusted out.

That hood with the howling moon. Buy it. Mount it on your wall.

Odd thing about these cars is that I couldn’t see what was wrong with them. Saab was in great condition, Del Sol was too, straight and shiny, with a unique paintjob on the hood.

so another thing to add to my memorabilia other than the Del Sol buckets?

That TL hurts my heart

Yeah!

Which state are you in? My dad sold my TL last year and last I heard the transmission disintegrated and possibly ruined the engine for the second owner. I always worry one day I'll see my first car parted out like that.

Southeastern Ontario, Canada.

It hurts everyone to see cars all cut up like that.

That was the first thing I thought of too, great garage art.

Poor 535i, what did they do to you? :, (

Can vouch for del Sol seats. COMFY.

That Saab is sad.
Body looks great. Certainly worth a drivetrain swap... which would be worst case with It.

Who in their right mind would scrap a clean manual longroof Saab? I hope someone buys it outright to swap a new drivetrain into it. Interior was pretty well kept, despite some usual wear and tear.

hopefully nobody takes them!

You can also probably flip them. But, I’m sure you knew that since you’re building a Frankenstein.

I like the paseo a lot
![]() 02/03/2016 at 00:44 |

very. I havent even started the engine build yet, still in the drawing board.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 01:23 |

All I gotta say about that is “BUILD FOR RELIABILITY”. I would rather have 180 really reliable whp than 205 it’s gonna blow whp.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 01:34 |

exactly. 180 HP is my target. If 200 can be reached easy and reliably for not much more, then that also works. 180 would be quite an improvement from the 125 it already makes anyway.

that black Suzuki Liana looked alright?
![]() 02/03/2016 at 07:29 |

What Liana? Thats clearly an Aerio.
I think the transmission went out on it, as automatics usually do.
![]() 02/03/2016 at 07:31 |

Aerio / Liana samething.
;)
didn’t know autos on those were prone to shitting themselves.

It’s often the neglect/lack of maintenance cars in North America are subject to. I’ve seen countless cars getting scrapped because the owners refused to maintain them.
