Because if people don’t want to talk about 20ish year old Mountain Bikes perhaps OPPO can inspire me to talk about something else. Like giant subfossil Lemurs from Madagascar. Or not, I’m kind of weird.

The local specialized dealer here has a 94/95 s-works fsr frame set hanging from the ceiling. I’ve got a period correct fork, thinking of getting it going again.

My Super-V is a ‘96 model. My Schwinn is 20 years older.
There’s nothing wrong with old bikes.

I sold my 96 trek 990 last summer, had not ridden it in 3 years. Sad to see it go but it was just collecting dust.

loved my Trek 930 - that is the one thing I miss the most after blowing a disk... The feeling of stepping out of the saddle and kicking up an incline or accelerating away is wonderful. I put thousands of miles on that bike.

A legendary bike, for those not in the know.

Thank you! That bike had always been more capable than I!

Dude that Lemur’s cool :) odd to see one that looks like it’s brachiating.
Always been a fan of Ice Age critters myself. All the weird marsupials down under like Thylacosmilus and Thylacoleo. Other cool things like Barbourofelids as well :)
