Oddly it runs smoother on my PC than it does on my Xbox.

Also found out I can play online from my PC without Gold, so I did that.

The highlight being when I was sucked into a drift session with a GT-R that is very much not set up for drifting. Did better than I thought it would, but I still suck at drifting.

Not OP, but the answer is no, it is a Play Anywhere title. You buy it once and can play it both on PC and Xbox.

You have to buy a digital copy. You do not get the PC version with a physical Xbox one copy.
