I think it’s interesting that the Camry has enough design language that I instantly recognize it from all angles as a Camry. Whereas the new WRX is a lot more exciting but I could totally mistake it as a Honda on a quick glance.
But more importantly, a car is only as beige as the driver in it. With some mild modifications, ANY car can be a hoot. I am thinking open headers and sticky tires on this one. Okay maybe side pipes if I want to somehow make it legal.

I think the refreshed version (2015, and then again for 2016 maybe?) is less distinguishable from the crowd because of the swoops and curves they introduced, which is a bit ironic.

Well at some point, aerodynamics are the main driving factor behind design aspects so the aesthetics of many cars will end up optimizing into the same/similar thing. SCIENCE!
