If you really want to appreciate a mid-engined Ferrari with panels tacked/screwed on, I suggest you find out about the 308 Millechiodi (“a thousand nails”, literally translated, although chiodo in this case means “rivet” or “stud”).
It has even appeared in Oppo already, courtesy of Mr Old Goggles Pizzano:
