this guy took an old Aptiva and gutted the 486 and instead turned it into a Skylake build. Pretty amazing

That is neat! My family’s Aptiva is the computer that I remember the most. First PC that we had with an internal modem! Bought it from Radio Shack of all places.

I don’t even have to dig it out, it’s a ‘test stand’ for all the other machines I fix on a regular basis in my work corner! :P
Still works perfectly too! No OS installed on it atm though...
