After 6 weeks of driving around England, the S2000 was looking a little worry for itself. Plus as its off for a new roof on wednesday, I thought I should make it look its best in readyness. amazing how much grime comes up off the roads, and how much better it looks.
Much better. Thankfully it has a decent layer of Wax on top of the paintwork so I just shampooed and dried it, didnt bother with anything else.
Now, will just have to see how the roof goes.

What with the penchant for British cars to leak oil, can’t say I’m surprised.
;-) I keed, I keed.

Nice job! Here’s a picture for you to use when you put the S2000 on craigslist

Alas no. Replacement soft top for £400. Hard tops are still about £1000 including the fittings kit.

It’s pretty brutal, oem hard tops were a relatively rare option. They have have pretty much retained their value since new :(

Yeah it’s kind of a double edged sword though. if you buy one you won’t loose money on it

I have Suzuka/Nürburgring Blue, and it’s amazing how much the silvery-metallic in the paint comes out when it’s clean.

Cleans up nicely! I like cars with paint like that, where at a glance it looks very simple, but then you get up close and the paintwork is much more intricate than youd think.
