My favorite time there is predawn, watching the coming sunrise from pitlane because you’re facing East. Not only is it beautiful, it gives you hope. I really miss that race, haven’t been since 2013.

Yep, My 24's have mostly been the longest day which used to be the LeMans weekend in June in Ohio. Same feeling in the morning except it was maybe 4 am when the sky brightened and then you realized you were barely half way through the race!

Very cool, I’ve always wanted to see Nelson Ledges, ever since Peter Egan wrote about it in mysterious terms when I was a kid. A story about a Lotus, as I recall.
