I found this with my metal detector today, on a lakebed. I think it’s part of a gun, but I don’t know anything about guns at all. So... Is it? And if so, any guesses what kind?

Definitely not a gun part that I recognize and likely not a gun part at all. It appears to be cast out of something crappy, which all-but guarantees it isn’t.
