DD Lx
Off road the rangie (I’d still off road the Lx, but the rangie is amazing in the rough when its working)

DD Escalade, offroad fancy LC100, burn the RR unless it’s a 4.4 Diesel, in which case burn the escalade, dd the LX, and off-road the Rangie.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 14:19 |

This is the only correct response.

Wonder if fire is covered under warranty? I mean if the Lucas smoke escapes...

What can go wrong with a ten year old Range Rover?
![]() 11/23/2016 at 14:23 |

Another thing we agree on today.

DD Rover
Off Road Escalade
Burn Lexus
![]() 11/23/2016 at 14:33 |

DD: Escalade, because dat power and I can haul/tow anything I need to, and parts are plentiful and cheap (thank you, badge engineering).
Off Road: Range Rover, because Terrain Response and also monocle-wearing off road shenanigans.
Burn: Fancy Land Cruiser, because in ‘07 they dropped the locking diffs.

DD the Escalade, because it would guarantee my wife likes me for a while (she’s always wanted one).
Off road the LX, because slightly softer Land Cruiser.
Burn the Rover, that particular body style has never done anything for me. Earlier and later Range Rovers I like, but not that generation.

DD: Escalade
Off Road: Range Rover
Burn: Lexus
![]() 11/23/2016 at 14:39 |

sad story? 99 was the last year of a mechanical locker in the US for the 100 series 97 was the last year of a front locker.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 16:43 |
|
Off-road Land Cruiser
DD Caddi, but slammed
Burn Landy via electrical fire.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:18 |

Daily Rangie, because best SUV.
Off road LX, it’s bigger and suited to the mud.
Burn disgusting other thing.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:43 |
|
That’s not a bad answer at all!
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:45 |
|
I’m hesitant to trust the Range Rover even if it is amazing
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:47 |
|
What’s so great about the 4.4?
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:48 |
|
Off road Escalade? DD Rover? Are you crazy?
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:51 |
|
From what I have seen though ATRAC does a pretty good job for what it is unless you get in the really rough stuff.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:52 |
|
People tend to hate on badge engineering but for cost of ownership it definitely has benefits
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:53 |
|
Interesting this generation might be might favorite RR
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:53 |
|
yeah, I’ve seen where ATRAC is superior to lockers, and where its inferior. Its good to have choice.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:54 |

DD and RR. Even if no warranty?
![]() 11/23/2016 at 17:54 |

Raptor wasn’t available in 07
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:00 |
|
How can it be the best if it is the most unreliable?
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:00 |
|
But you do paint a sad story. I wish triple lockers were available
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:04 |
|
At least a freaking rear would be nice. Sigh.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:07 |
|
I can only think of two available in the US that have triple. Wrangler and Gwagon
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:10 |
|
Powerwagon and now the Colorado ZR2!
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:12 |
|
The Colorado? Really? That’s awesome
![]() 11/23/2016 at 18:18 |

Yup, 31 inch duratracs , super special shocks, dual e-lockers and a diesel. Looks pretty much really for good times.

I prefer this style. It’s the car of a god...the golden god!
Oppo needs more Always Sunny references.
![]() 11/23/2016 at 19:11 |

Yep, older models were cursed with evil electrics, but plenty of these stay on the road in good condition. The Rangie is still a V8 luxury car with full off-road ability, and that makes it the best in my book.
Plus it’s a bit more usable day to the day than the huge Lexus, and both are preferred over that generation of Escalade which was still cursed by dreaded pre-restructuring GM plastics. But that’s just me. :P
![]() 11/23/2016 at 20:15 |
|
It’s a diesel V8 not available in the states
![]() 11/23/2016 at 21:09 |
|
When the time comes I might just buy that
![]() 11/23/2016 at 21:11 |
|
It’s a classic that’s for sure
![]() 11/23/2016 at 22:37 |

DD Lexus because it’ll never die.
Off road the Range Rover
Burn the Suburban.

DD the Rover, despite all the reliability issues. Offroad the Lexus. Burn the Escalade.
