I think that Jennifer Saunders cover of “I need a hero” (yes, the one that was in Shrek 2) is better than the original by Bonnie Tyler.
Something about having orchestra and a choir in a fast paced song just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

IMO, original is superior. It just sounds right.
I very rarely like the cover over the original. One of the examples is “The man who sold the world” - I love the Nirvana version, I can’t even listen to David Bowie’s version.
